Clean water is
the result of proper treatment.

Elysator is The Non-Chemical Corrosion Preventative Alternative!

Eliminate toxic chemicals at your worksite!
Improve efficiency of your closed loop systems!
Protect your workplace environment!

Choose Elysator instead of chemical treatments for corrosion protection.

NON-CHEMICAL DEVICE

Elysator is a non-chemical device (NCD) used in closed loop freshwater systems such as boilers, heating and chilling loops, and cooling water for engines and generators.  Elysator protects against corrosion and lowers conductivity.  It stops scaling, removes old scaling, and balances pH to proper levels.

DEVELOPED IN SWITZERLAND

Elysator was developed in Switzerland during the 1960's to soften water in radiant heat loops and potable water systems.  Since then, Elysator  has been engineered to replace chemical treatments commonly used for freshwater closed loop systems.  International Water Treatment North America,LLC (IWTNA) introduced Elysator to North America in 2003.

BASIC TECHNOLOGY

The technology behind Elysator is the basic anodic/cathodic principle.  That is, a less noble metal is sacrified to save the system. In the case of Elysator, magnesium is the sacrificial metal.  During the process, magnesium anodes remove oxygen from the water creating magnesium hydroxide.  This coats metal surfaces of the treated system protecting them from corrosion.  Scaling in the system is softened and removed as small particles.  Elysator also removes metals, organic materials, and pesticides from the raw water used in these systems.

IN USE WORLDWIDE

More than 50,000 Elysator units are now in use worldwide in nuclear power plants, hospitals, airports, tankers, fishing boats, cruise ships, dairy farms, and cooling towers.

CLEAN PURE WATER

Elysator circulates only clean pure water.  Because it does, there are many benefits to using Elysator instead of chemicals for treatment of water in freshwater closed loop systems.  When chemicals are eliminated so is the need for storing and handling toxic chemicals.  The risk of employee accidents is reduced.  Heat transfer is improved as a result of thorough de-scaling of the system.  Energy costs are reduced.  And your workplace environment benefits.

LOW MAINTENANCE

Elysator is low maintenance.  It requires only a daily five second blow down and a monthly cleaning. The monthly cleaning can be done by one person in about an hour depending upon the size of the unit.  Elysator units do not need electricity except in the case of boilers using circulation pumps.

ONE TIME EXPENSE

Elysator is a one time expense.  Only the magnesium anodes need replacement every five to seven years.  The replacement cost of these anodes is just 8% of the original Elysator price.

ELYSATOR IS THE BEST CHOICE

If you want to eliminate dangerous chemicals at your worksite, and improve the efficiency of your freshwater closed loop systems, Elysator is the best choice for you.
